Strengthen the doorframe
Aside from installing a more robust strike plate, be sure to remove the short mounting screws used to secure the plate and replace them with longer ones that extend up to the door's studs. This would provide added strength to the doorframe and increase its ability to foil even the most determined of efforts to breach your door locks.
